i only want to say few things,
any glass coasting its very important how long you wait for cure time and the room temp.
if you wipe it off too soon you will remove the coat. its not as wax , the coat has reaction time on the surface.
so i would like to know at that day , with the temp you did, how long you waited to cure, specialy for cquartz and Finest
any coat we sell the best time to start wiping is when it start to feel little sticky feeling, resisting the hand wipe.
if it feel hard to wipe it means its too late, so you could remove the layer too by strong force.
if you wiped too soon, surface feel oily.. means again you remove the coat, all this depend allot on the room temp.
also, both cquartz and Finest has longer dry time, must let dry for best bonding without soap touch around a week, specialy in cold weather, our Finest detailers we recommend using Infrared lights to bake the coat.

beside that, any silica base coat , the weak point is alkyl cleaner, pH above 9 , alkyl cleaner can remove the hydrophobic effect and basicely remove the coat.
from what i see the Finest bottle you used is little older version which we improved now to be more resisting to high ph chemicals.
beside that, i would like to know from where did you get the Finest bottle , i understand you are from Germany.
